Ive been keeping these beautiful snakes for decades now. They are a stunning snake in a well planted vivarium. They are not “plastic box snakes”. See the info and photos in the Captive Care section of this web site to see photos of cages.
The male for this clutch is the best looking Guyana Shield Spilotes I’ve ever seen. The female is exceptionally “white” and black. Most Spilotes are an off-white, cream or yellowish tan. Pricing on these will depend on the appearance of he babies, but will start at $350 and go up from there. If they are exceptional the price may be as high as $650 each.
Because of this uncertainty I am hesitant to accept deposits. If you would like to be on a list to be notified when the eggs hatch let me know – but this will not be a guarantee that you will have the option of buying a snake from this clutch.
As with the other species Im offering, all the young will be photographed and put up here so buyers will be able to choose the exact animal they want.
All young will be sexed via DNA analysis – not popped or probed.
