Mexican Leaf Frogs : Agalychnis dacnicolor

These are wonderful captive born pet frogs. They are more active than red-eyed tree frogs and will eat in the evening, so they are easier to interact with. They grow big and are beautiful green-blue during the day, turning a deep purple at night. Plus they are easy to keep, they need less humidity than most frogs and require a warm (not hot) basking lamp and always fresh water.

Once thought to be critically endangered, more populations have now been found and their status has been upgraded.
